a) Storyboard

b) Relevant plans and Sketches for the planned special effect

c) Contingency Plan

Crew Absences
- If a member of our crew happens to be absent on the day of filming then we will double down on our roles with the remaining crew members. If we are unable to complete filming without them then we will focus on the work that does not involve that crew member and have all the other members of the team step up and fulfil their roles.

Footage Corruption
- In case any footage is corrupted during the unit, back up footage will be made as soon as filming is completed. The data wrangler will produce multiple copies of the footage and make sure that they are all saved in different places.

On set injury
- If a crew member or actor is injured on set production will be halted and that crew member will be immediately taken to the first aid centre at college where they can be treated.

Actor absent for SFX design
- If the actor needed for the SFX work is currently unavailable during filming then we will have to postpone the SFX sequence and film it separately. If the actors face is not needed for the SFX sequence then it is also possible for them to be replaced with a body double with the same SFX applied.

Make up failure
- The makeup artist will make sure that there is enough tools and equipment for the SFX. In the event that there is not enough tools/equipment needed for the scene, we will have to order knew equipment for the sequence and postpone filming for that scene.

i) Other Legal Requirements

Issue

Solved or justified?
Filming Buildings

Buildings are protected by copyright under English law but there is a specific exception which permits you to take a photograph or film a building without infringing its copyright.

permission is not required from the owners of the building to. This gives us the right to film on location of our own accord. you should ensure this right is included in your license agreement.

Filming People

If the film was published featuring an individual without their given consent, that would be a breach of that individual’s right to respect for their private life.

In order to avoid a situation such as this, before the release of the film, direct consent from anybody appearing on camera needs to be
properly obtained by signing an agreement form.

There needs to be a list of everyone appearing onscreen. Making it easier to identify who should and shouldn’t be in the film and who needs to give their consent.
Media Insurance

All productions, need proof of Public Liability Insurance in order to receive permission to film or carry out commercial photography.

Since the project is part of the coursework, all insurance will be covered by Long Road Sixth Form college.
Copyright Infringement

Copyright infringement does not apply to the use of photography of filming.

A building on public display is not infringed by making a film, photograph, broadcasting a visual image or making a graphic work representing it.
